Modern Teaching Using AR/VR Powered by the Metaverse

Abstract

The learning process can be improved by integrating simulation, modeling, and analytical tools into the Metaverse. Virtual worlds, lifelike simulations, and worldwide cooperation in the Metaverse can all be combined to improve the creation of more efficient and interesting teaching strategies, which will eventually better prepare students for the difficulties that the engineering field will present in the future. Exam security and reliability are further guaranteed by the Metaverse's technological capabilities, which enhance assessment dependability by integrating biometric identification and real-time monitoring. The chapter focuses on Advantages as well as difficulties of integrating metaverse-based teaching tools. The chapter discusses revolutionary potential of augmented reality/virtual reality (AR/VR) technology in the metaverse for contemporary education. Real-world uses of modern teaching using AR/VR powered by the metaverse along with prospective future uses of the metaverse in the classroom is also explored in this chapter.
