Abstract

In nature, photosynthetic organisms achieve the directional transfer and conversion of solar energy through sophisticated light-harvesting complexes, a process closely related to Frster resonance energy transfer (FRET). Among them, the energy transfer efficiency in the red light region is approximately 80%, while in the blue light region, it reaches about 95%. Inspired by this, a large number of artificial light-harvesting systems (ALHSs) based on FRET have been gradually developed. This paper reviews the various artificial light harvesting systems (ALHSs) based on FRET, which provide an important research platform and theoretical reference for in-depth exploration of energy transfer mechanisms in photosynthesis and improvement of solar energy conversion efficiency.
