Preservasi Preventif Arsip Dinamis Inaktif Melalui Pemberkasan Arsip di Record Center Fakultas Ilmu Komunikasi Universitas Padjadjaran

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas mengenai proses preservasi preventif arsip dinamis inaktif melalui pemberkasan arsip di Record Center Fakultas Ilmu Komunikasi Universitas Padjadjaran. Metode penelitian yang digunakan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan studi pustaka. Informan dalam penelitian ini adalah kepala unit kearsipan Record Center Fakultas Ilmu Komunikasi Universitas Padjadjaran. Dari hasil penelitian didapatkan bahwa Record Center Fakultas Ilmu Komunikasi Universitas Padjadjaran sudah melakukan kegiatan preservasi preventif arsip dinamis inaktif sesuai dengan pedoman dari Universitas Padjadjaran dan Perka ANRI. Pelaksanaan preservasi preventif di Record Center Fakultas Ilmu Komunikasi Universitas Padjadjaran dilakukan dengan cara membersihkan arsip dari debu, memberi kamper dan kapur barus pada lemari besi dua minggu sekali, serta melakukan pemberkasan arsip dinamis inaktif sehingga bisa ditentukan nasib akhir dari arsip tersebut. Hambatan dalam kegiatan preservasi preventif arsip dinamis inaktif adalah sarana dan prasarana yang belum lengkap dan kurangnya Sumber Daya Manusia yang ada. This research discusses the preventive preservation process of inactive dynamic archives through archival filing at the Record Center of the Faculty of Communication Sciences, Padjadjaran University. The research method uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection through observation, interviews, and literature study. The informant in this research is the head of the archiving unit of the Record Center of the Faculty of Communication Sciences, Padjadjaran University. The research results found that the Record Center of the Faculty of Communication Sciences, Padjadjaran University has carried out preventive preservation activities for inactive dynamic archives per the guidelines of Padjadjaran University and Perka ANRI. The implementation of preventive preservation at the Padjadjaran University Faculty of Communication Sciences Record Center is carried out by cleaning the archives from dust, giving camphor and camphor to the vault every two weeks, and filing inactive dynamic archives so that the final fate of the archive can be determined. The obstacles to the preventive preservation activities of inactive dynamic archives are incomplete facilities and infrastructure and the lack of human resources.
