This study aims to examine the effect of unemployment and poverty on economic growth in West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) Province during the 2010–2023 period. The research uses a quantitative approach with an associative research design. Secondary data were obtained from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) of NTB Province. The data were analyzed using multiple linear regression with the help of EViews 12.0 software. The results show that unemployment has a negative and significant effect on economic growth, with a regression coefficient of -7007.347 and a significance level of 0.0122 (< 0.05). Poverty also has a negative effect, although statistically insignificant, with a coefficient of -62.847 and a significance level of 0.0776 (> 0.05). Simultaneously, unemployment and poverty have a significant effect on economic growth, as indicated by the F-statistic probability value of 0.000186. The coefficient of determination (R²) is 0.7902, suggesting that 79.02% of the variation in economic growth is explained by the model. The findings imply that reducing unemployment through the creation of productive jobs and strengthening economic sectors is crucial for supporting growth. Although poverty is not statistically significant, its negative relationship indicates the importance of sustainable poverty reduction strategies to promote inclusive and long-term economic development.
