Efficient photo-rechargeable aqueous zinc-ion batteries using lead-free perovskite photocathodes

Abstract

The photo-rechargeable aqueous zinc-ion battery using perovskite photocathode demonstrates the capability of charging solely under sunlight without the need of an external bias achieving a good photoconversion efficiency of 2.1%.
