The paper considers the use of an adaptive modulator in a data transmission system that ensures high efficiency and reliability of communication under changing channel parameters. The principles of operation of the adaptive modulator are described, including channel state assessment, selection of the optimal modulation type (BPSK, QPSK, QAM) and dynamic adaptation of transmission parameters. The advantages of using adaptive modulation, such as increased spectral efficiency, increased transmission reliability and energy optimization, are considered. An analysis of the prospects for further development of adaptive data transmission systems, including integration with adaptive coding, is also given. The use of an adaptive modulator allows improving the quality of communication and the efficiency of resource use in data transmission systems.
