Dual-functional zincophilic–hydrophobic interfacial layer enables highly stable Zn metal anodes

Abstract

A zincophilic–hydrophobic STA-ZnO protective layer is in situ constructed on Zn surfaces to suppress water-induced side reactions and regulate Zn 2+ deposition behavior for achieving Zn anodes with high reversibility and stability.
