Zinc-based mixed-anion catalysts for photochemical reduction of carbon dioxide

Abstract

The catalytic reduction of CO 2 to HCOOH was achieved using Zn(OH)(NO 3 ) and Zn 3 (OH) 4 (NO 3 ) 2 under visible light with a Ru( ii ) photosensitizer and electron donor.
