Insomnia is a condition that cannot respond properly to the quality and quantity of sleep. If insomnia is not treated quickly, it can have fatal consequences for the sufferer, such as difficulty concentrating, getting tired easily during the day, and even depression. One of the therapies that can be used to treat insomnia is ablution therapy, which is a form of Islamic psychotherapy method through worship which is applied using water media which has been determined based on the interpretation of Q.S Al-Ma'idah [5]: 6. The aim of this research is to find out The effect of ablution therapy before bed on the level of insomnia in students at UIN Raden Fatah Palembang. The participants in this research were active students at UIN Raden Fatah Palembang who experienced insomnia. This research method uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data collection methods use literature studies, interviews and observations. The results and discussion of this research show that providing ablution therapy can be an effective therapy that has an influence in reducing insomnia sleep disorders, apart from that it also makes a person's body and soul peaceful and serene.
