The content is based on a narrative synthesis of relevant literature, identified through searches in nursing and healthcare databases, including PubMed and Cumulative Index to Nursing and Allied Health Literature (CINAHL), using terms such as “artificial intelligence,” “nursing practice,” “nursing education,” and “nursing research.” It explores the importance of training the nursing workforce to work effectively with AI technologies and the potential for AI to augment, rather than replace, human judgment in patient care. Additionally, case studies and real-world examples illustrate the successful implementation of AI-driven solutions in nursing, highlighting lessons learned and best practices. Through real-world examples and future projections, the chapter emphasizes the importance of integrating AI technologies to empower nurses and improve health outcomes.
