KONSELING KELOMPOK DENGAN SFBC (SOLUTION FOCUSED BRIEF COUNSELING) FORM SCALLING QUESTION UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KEDISIPLINAN

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low level of discipline in some students of class X.5 of SMA Negeri 1 Palembang, as identified from the results of the initial questionnaire. Therefore, the focus of this research is to improve this discipline through the implementation of group counseling services with the Solution Focused Brief Counseling (SFBC) approach using the Form Scaling Question technique. The research method used is Guidance and Counseling Action Research (PTBK) which is carried out in two cycles, where each cycle includes the stages of planning, action implementation, observation, and reflection. The subjects of the research were 8 students from class X.5 who were identified as having a low level of discipline out of a total of 36 students. Data collection was carried out through a discipline questionnaire, participant observation sheets, and documentation. The results of the study showed a significant increase in the level of student discipline. The average discipline score increased from 59% in pre-cycle conditions, to 62% in cycle I, and reached 72% in cycle II. These findings indicate that the Form Scaling Question technique in SFBC is effective in helping students recognize, evaluate, and improve discipline behavior independently. Thus, it is concluded that group counseling services using the SFBC approach with the Form Scaling Question technique can improve student discipline and is recommended as an intervention strategy in the school environment. ABSTRAKPenelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya tingkat kedisiplinan pada sebagian peserta didik kelas X.5 SMA Negeri 1 Palembang, sebagaimana teridentifikasi dari hasil angket awal. Oleh karena itu, fokus penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kedisiplinan tersebut melalui penerapan layanan konseling kelompok dengan pendekatan Solution Focused Brief Counseling (SFBC) yang menggunakan teknik Form Scaling Question. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Bimbingan dan Konseling (PTBK) yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus, di mana setiap siklus mencakup tahapan perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian adalah 8 orang siswa dari kelas X.5 yang teridentifikasi memiliki tingkat kedisiplinan rendah dari total 36 siswa. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui angket kedisiplinan, lembar observasi partisipan, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan pada tingkat kedisiplinan peserta didik. Rata-rata skor kedisiplinan meningkat dari 59% pada kondisi pra-siklus, menjadi 62% pada siklus I, dan mencapai 72% pada siklus II. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa teknik Form Scaling Question dalam SFBC efektif membantu peserta didik mengenali, mengevaluasi, dan meningkatkan perilaku disiplin secara mandiri. Dengan demikian, disimpulkan bahwa layanan konseling kelompok menggunakan pendekatan SFBC dengan teknik Form Scaling Question dapat meningkatkan kedisiplinan peserta didik dan direkomendasikan sebagai strategi intervensi di lingkungan sekolah.
