Abstract
Liver cancer is one of the leading causes of cancer-related mortality worldwide. Accurate and early detection of liver tumors is crucial for improving patient survival rates. Traditional image segmentation methods, including CNN-based approaches, struggle with accurately segmenting liver tumors due to their small size and irregular boundaries. In this study, we propose an improved deep learning approach using U-Net, an advanced version of CNN, to enhance segmentation accuracy. I
