KEPATUHAN PENERAPAN PROTOKOL KESEHATAN PADA LANSIA DI MASA PANDEMI COVID-19

Abstract

ABSTRAK Lansia merupakan salah satu kelompok yang mudah untuk terifeksi berbagai jenis penyakit salah satunya adalah COVID-19. Lansia yang terifeksi COVID-19 akan mengalami proses penyembuhan yang lama dan menyebabkan infeksi berat bahkan terjadi kematian pada lansia dikarenakan adanya penurunan daya tahan tubuh. Adanya gangguan kognitif membuat lansia lebih sulit untuk disiplin dalam melakukan protokol kesehatan. Tujuan penelitian ini Mengidentifikasi kepatuhan lansia dalam melaksanakan protokol kesehatan di masa pandemi COVID-19 di Desa Brayublandong. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan Cross Sectional. Variabel penelitian ini adalah kepatuhan lansia dalam menerapkan protocol Kesehatan C)VID 19. Sampel penelitian ini adalah 71 lansia yang dipilih secara acak sederhana. Penelitian ini menggunakan lembar kuesioner untuk memperoleh data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan hampir setengahnya lansia berusia 60 – 64 tahun ,sebagian besar lansia berjenis kelamin perempuan, dan pendidikan terkahir tamat SD. Sebagian besar lansia patuh terhadap penerapan protokol Kesehatan dan hampir setengahnya tidak mematuhi protocol Kesehatan COVID-19. Warga lanjut usia dan masyarakat diharapkan selalu menerapkan protokol kesehatan dengan menggunakan masker, mencuci tangan, menjaga jarak serta selalu menerapkan pola hidup sehat untuk mencegah serta memutus penyebaran infeksi COVID 19 terhadap lansia sendiri maupun orang lain Kata kunci : COVID-19, Lansia, Kepatuhan ABSTRACK The elderly are a group that is easily infected with various types of diseases, one of which is COVID-19. Elderly who are infected with COVID-19 will experience a long healing process and cause severe infections and even death in the elderly due to decreased immune system. The existence of cognitive disorders makes it more difficult for the elderly to be disciplined in carrying out health protocols. The purpose of this study is to identify the compliance of the elderly in implementing health protocols during the COVID-19 pandemic in Brayublandong Village. This research is a descriptive study with a cross sectional approach. The variable of this study was the adherence of the elderly in implementing the C)VID 19 Health protocol. The sample of this study was 71 elderly people who were selected at simple random. This study used a questionnaire sheet to obtain data. The results showed that almost half of the elderly were aged 60-64 years, most of the elderly were female, and their last education had graduated from elementary school. Most of the elderly comply with the implementation of the Health protocol and almost half do not comply with the COVID-19 Health protocol. Elderly citizens and the public are expected to always implement health protocols by using masks, washing hands, keeping their distance and always adopting a healthy lifestyle to prevent and break the spread of COVID 19 infection to the elderly themselves and others Keywords: COVID-19, Elderly, Compliance
