This study aims to analyze the formulation of strategies to improve the quality of Islamic educational institutions, with a focus on two schools in Gresik, namely YIMI Gresik Junior High School and Qon Gresik Islamic Junior High School. The method used is qualitative research with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study show that the formulation of quality improvement strategies in these two schools includes various aspects, such as human resource development, technology utilization, improvement of facilities and infrastructure, and strengthening organizational culture. In addition, a strategic management-based approach is implemented to ensure the sustainability of quality improvement. Thus, the designed strategy can help Islamic educational institutions in facing global challenges and increasing their competitiveness in the modern era.
