Abstract: The aim of this paper is to examine Heidegger's engagement with the Greek concept of nature (phýsis). In order to achieve this, the objective was to comprehend the relationship between metaphysics and the forgetting of the original experience of nature. Secondly, it was investigated to what extent the sense of nature (φύσις) present in Aristotelian thought echoes the original sense of phýsis. Finally, it was investigated how phýsis, seen from its manifestation, shows itself in an essential link with truth (Alétheia).
