Tunable photo-responsive liquid crystal elastomer fibers via disperse dyeing for smart textiles

Abstract

A two-step cross-linking and dispersion dyeing strategy was proposed to create three wavelength-selective liquid crystal elastomer fibers, used to produce functional smart textiles via various fabrication techniques.
