The numerous research fields of physics and chemistry is accomplished by the varied potential of 2D MXenes and MBenes. The execution of energy storage devices is improved by 2D MXenes and also their composite substances. The energy storage features of a supercapacitor are enhanced by MXenes due to their higher surface area, rapider ion diffusion paths, and superior conductivity. The high proportion pseudocapacitive energy storage ability of MXenes electrodes is the combination of their hydrophilicity with metallic conduction and surface redox reactivity. MBenes fascinate more researcher's attention as a consequence of the exceptional electrical conduction, mechanical and electrical characteristics of energy storage applications for batteries and supercapacitors. MBenes are also have more effectual supercapacitors including extensive-cycle steadiness and extreme-power density. This chapter represents the modern developments of 2D MXenes and MBenes their composites in supercapacitor appliances and synthesis and production techniques of electrode materials.
