Programas preventivos para la conducta suicida basados en el modelo guardianes: Revisión sistemática

Abstract

Systematic review (PRISMA), with the objective of describing the impact of interventions for the suicidal behavior prevention in adolescent and young students, based on the Guardians model. Risk of bias assessment was performed using the Cochrane RCT risk of bias tool RoB2 for clinical trials and the TREND guide for quasi-experimental trials. 15 studies were included in the review. The most studied intervention was the Ask, Persuade and Refer program, which showed positive results in knowledge increasing and warning signs of suicidal behavior; attitude improvements towards the phenomenon and increase in perceived self-efficacy to promptly identify young people with suicidal tendencies, provide help and refer them to a support network. All programs reviewed reported positive effects on these variables. Interventions based on the model do not show precise effects in preventing suicide ideation, attempts, or death.
