Significantly enhanced photocatalytic degradation towards tetracycline hydrochloride in BiVO4via surface defect engineering

Abstract

Defective BiVO 4 with oxygen vacancies was synthesized via hydrothermal method. Oxygen vacancies modulate band structure, enhance light absorption, and create internal electric fields to boost carrier separation.
