Pengaruh Pendapatan Dan Konsumsi Rumah Tangga Terhadap Kesejahteraan Keluarga Petani Cabai

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of income and household consumption on the welfare of chili farmer families in Kemiri Village, Bonepantai Subdistrict, Bone Bolango Regency, Gorontalo Province. The research approach used in this study was a quantitative approach using a descriptive research method. The primary data were obtained from the distribution of questionnaires to the community in Kemiri Village. The sample size in this study was 51 respondents. The data was then analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis with the assistance of the SPSS 21 program. The study's results indicate that 1) income has a negative and significant influence on the welfare of chili farmer families in Kemiri Village, Bonepantai Subdistrict, Bone Bolango Regency, Gorontalo Province, 2) household consumption has a positive and significant influence on the welfare of chili farmer families in Kemiri Village, Bonepantai Subdistrict, Bone Bolango Regency, Gorontalo Province, and 3) income and household consumption simultaneously influence the welfare of chili farmer families in Kemiri Village, Bonepantai Subdistrict, Bone Bolango Regency, Gorontalo Province. This study was supported by an Adjusted R Square coefficient of determination value of 0.711, meaning that 71.1% of the variability in the welfare of chili farmer families was explained by income and household consumption in Kemiri Village, Bonepantai Subdistrict, Bone Bolango Regency, Gorontalo Province. Meanwhile, the remaining 28,9% was influenced by other variables not examined in this study.
