Abstract

A trace of thioacetamide (TAA) added to ZnSO 4 solution regulates the inner Helmholtz structure for dendrite-free zinc deposition. In a ZnSO 4 electrolyte with 10 mM TAA, the reversibility of zinc is nearly 13 times higher than in pure ZnSO 4 .
