Abstract

Inspired by the biocrust in desert ecology, we used eflornithine additive to in situ construct a ZnF 2 -rich SEI with crust effect on zinc anodes, which suppressed the dendrite growth and side reactions on an aqueous zinc-ion battery and stabilized it.
