Proton insertion chemistry in a phenazine-based cathode for aqueous Zn-organic batteries

Abstract

We assemble an aqueous Zn-organic battery, involving a DPPZ cathode, a Zn anode and a saturated ZnSO 4 electrolyte. Particularly, high reaction kinetics of the DPPZ cathode contribute to the exceptional performance of Zn//DPPZ cells.
