A cobalt single-atom catalyst with ultralow metal loading for activation of peroxymonosulfate to generate singlet oxygen with almost 100% selectivity

Abstract

Compared with the metal-free catalyst (N–C), the Co single-atom catalyst (Co–N–C) with 0.34 wt% of metal loading exhibits significantly enhanced PMS activation to generate 1 O 2 with almost 100% selectivity.
