Polyoxometalate-encapsulated metal–organic frameworks for photocatalytic uranium isolation

Abstract

We design polyoxometalate@Cu-MOFs via a self-assembly approach and unveil that the synergistic effect benefits the charge separation between the oxo-metal cluster and MOF, thereby boosting removal of U( vi ) via adsorption and photocatalysis.
