Edukasi Kesehatan Gigi dan Mulut Siswa SD : Media Audiovisual Sebagai Sarana Pembelajaran

Abstract

Dental and oral health is a support for achieving optimal body health. Problems with teeth and oral cavity can have a negative impact on daily life including disrupting school education activities. Dental and oral health problems are diseases experienced by almost half of the world's population, which is 3.58 billion people, especially dental caries. The purpose of this community service is to provide dental and oral health education for elementary school students through audiovisual media as a learning tool to increase knowledge and understanding related to dental and oral health in students. The method used in this community service is by filling out a pre-test form before providing dental and oral health education using audiovisual media, as well as how to brush your teeth properly and then a post-test is carried out. The results of community service activities are an increase in knowledge for education participants.
