A Giant interferometric fiber optic gyroscope with Low Self-Noise for Geophysical Rotation Sensing

Abstract

A low Self-noise giant interferometric fiber optic gyroscope system has been built for geophysical rotation sensing. The gyroscope 24-hour stability test shows that sensitivity can reach 1.65 × 10 -9 rad/s/√Hz.
