Fe–Nx sites coupled with Fe3C on porous carbon from plastic wastes for oxygen reduction reaction

Abstract

Isolated Fe–N x sites as well as Fe 3 C NPs co-embedded in N-doped carbon (Fe 3 C/Fe–N–C) was synthesized using PET as carbon precursor. The Fe 3 C/Fe–N–C showed excellent ORR performance, realizing the concept of turning trash into treasure.
