PENGARUH GAYA KEPEMIMPINAN DAN MOTIVASI KERJA TERHADAP KINERJA PEGAWAI DENGAN BUDAYA KERJA SEBAGAI VARIABEL INTERVENING

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh gaya kepemimpinan dan motivasi kerja terhadap kinerja pegawai dengan budaya kerja sebagai variabel intervening di PPSDM Kemendagri regional Makassar. Metode kuantitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif dan teknik analisis SEM-PLS digunakan untuk mengumpulkan dan menganalisis data dari ASN berjumlah 60 orang di PPSDM Kemendagri Regional Makassar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa gaya kepemimpinan, motivasi kerja, dan budaya kerja berpengaruh positif terhadap kinerja pegawai. Gaya kepemimpinan oleh kepala PPSDM Kemendagri Regional Makassar, termasuk inspirsasi, motivasi, pengaruh, kepedulian, integritas, kepercayaan dan pemberdayaan, mendapat penilaian positif dari responden. Motivasi kerja juga dinilai berpengaruh positif terhadap kinerja pegawai, begitu juga dengan budaya kerja yang diniliai berpengaruh positif terhadap kinerja pegawai. Analisis jalur (SEM-PLS) menunjukkan bahwa gaya kepemimpinan memiliki pengaruh langsung maupun tidak langsung melalui budaya kerja sebagai variabel intervening yang signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai, dan dapat meningkatkan kinerja pegawai serta mempengaruhi secara positif, motivasi mempengaruhi kinerja pegawai secara positif baik secara langsung maupun tidak langsung dengan budaya kerja sebagai variabel interving yang dapat meningkatkan kinerja pegawai, Demikian pula dengan budaya kerja mempengaruhi kinerja pegawai secara positif dan meningkatkan kinerja pegawai secara langsung. Kesimpulannya, penelitian ini menyoroti pentingnya gaya kepemimpinan, motivasi kerja dan budaya kerja dalam meningkatkan kinerja pegawai. Rekomendasi untuk institusi mencakup upaya mengoptimalkan gaya kepemimpinan, memperkuat budaya kerja, dan menambah motivasi kerja untuk meningkatkan kinerja pegawai. This study aims to determine the effect of leadership style and work motivation on employee performance with work culture as an intervening variable at PPSDM Ministry of Home Affairs Regional Makassar. A quantitative method with a descriptive approach and SEM-PLS analysis technique was employed to collect and analyze data from 60 civil servants at PPSDM Ministry of Home Affairs Regional Makassar. The results showed that leadership style, work motivation, and work culture had a positive effect on employee performance. The leadership style exhibited by the head of PPSDM Ministry of Home Affairs Regional Makassar, including inspiration, motivation, influence, care, integrity, trust, and empowerment, received positive ratings from the respondents. Work motivation was also assessed as having a positive influence on employee performance, as well as organizational culture, which was considered to positively impact employee performance. The path analysis (SEM-PLS) reveals that leadership style has both direct and indirect effects, mediated by organizational culture, on employee performance. It can enhance employee performance and have a positive influence. Similarly, work motivation directly and indirectly affects employee performance through organizational culture, which can enhance employee performance. Likewise, organizational culture positively affects employee performance and directly contributes to its improvement. In conclusion, this study highlights the importance of leadership style, work motivation, and organizational culture in enhancing employee performance. Recommendations for the institution include efforts to optimize leadership style, strengthen organizational culture, and enhance work motivation to improve employee performancepresence, and optimize marketing strategies to attract more students to travel studies programs.
