The method used is literature study from Google Scholar starting from 2020-2024. The results show that eight important factors were found that influence the effectiveness and quality of leadership in Islamic education management, which include: transformational leadership as much as 38%, curriculum development as much as 15%, character development as much as 14%, resource management as much as 13%, vision and mission as much as 7%, adaptability as much as 6%, community involvement as much as 4%, up to continuous learning as much as 3% .Novelty from this research found that the highest tendency was the transformational leadership factor at 38% and the lowest was the continuous learning factor at 3%. This shows that recent studies regarding leadership still focus on determining appropriate role models so that the management process can run ideally. Meanwhile, the urgency of sustainable learning has not been a study that is often discussed even though this factor can determine the continuity of learning patterns in the future. Therefore, this research can be a reference for future researchers so that it can be further developed and applied with various relevant approaches and studies.
