Defect-rich W1−xMoxS2 solutions for efficient H2 evolution in acidic electrolytes

Abstract

A defect-rich W 0.4 Mo 0.6 S 2 solid solution is controllably synthesized and exhibits markedly enhanced HER activity and durability in both 0.5 M H 2 SO 4 and 2.0 M NaCl, thereby showing outstanding practical prospects.
