Abstract

The reformulated forgotten index (RF) is the edge version of the ordinary forgotten index. We describe graph transformations, by means of which RF increases or decreases. Using these transformations, the trees, unicyclic, and bicyclic graphs extremal w.r.t. RF are characterized.
