Abstract

This chapter studies unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) edge networks assisted by digital twin (DT) with ultra-reliable low-latency communications (URLLC) to enable delay-sensitive and mission-critical applications. In particular, we formulate a min-max fairness latency minimisation and jointly optimise various communication and computation variables such as transmission power, offloading portions, and the processing rate of users and edge servers. To deal with the formulated problem, we propose an efficient alternating optimisation (AO) algorithm. The effectiveness of the proposed solution is clearly validated by extensive simulation results. This chapter has been published partly in [1].
