Reflective Microresonator based Microwave Photonic Sensor Assisted by Sparse Transformer

Abstract

We demonstrate a sparse transformer assisted microwave photonic sensor using a microring cascaded with an inverse designed reflector. Even with a small dataset, the root-mean-square-error of a temperature estimation model is achieved as 0.0074 °C.
