The emergence of advanced molecular modeling software and speedy processing units has transformed the research of drug discovery in diabetes concerning type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM). This review highlights the recent advances and significance of in silico modeling for designing potential anti-T2DM drugs. The authors have discussed currently available information on the study of molecular modeling methods like molecular docking and drug repurposing for designing antiT2DM drugs.
