Time-frequency analysis of non-stationary signals based on short-time Fourier transform

Abstract

Time-frequency analysis of non-stationary signals is an important tool to reveal the characteristics of signals. Short-time Fourier transform uses a certain length of analysis window to perform piecewise Fourier transform on the signal in the window. This method is of great significance to capture the time-varying frequency characteristics of the signal and find the essential characteristics of the signal. The practicability of this method is verified by simulation of different typical signals. The results reveal the law of frequency changing with time
