KONFLIK BATIN TOKOH UTAMA DALAM NOVEL DAUN YANG JATUH TAK PERNAH MEMBENCI ANGIN KARYA TERE LIYE (TINJAUAN PSIKOLOGI SASTRA

Abstract

ABSTRACTInner conflict is one aspect of studies that deals with problems experienced by humans. The inner conflicts experienced can affect a person's psychological condition. Psychic problems can also be found in a literary work such as a novel. For this reason, the object of this research is Tere Liye's novel Daun Yang Jatuh Never Hate the Wind. The purpose of this study is to describe: (1) the inner conflicts of the main character in Daun Yang Jatuh Tak Henci Angin, (2) the factors causing the inner conflict of the main character in the novel Daun Yang Jatuh Never Hate Angin. The theory used to analyze this problem is Sigmund Freud's theory of psychoanalysis regarding the id, ego, and superego. The method used in analyzing this problem is a qualitative descriptive method. The results of the study found that the conditions built from the results of the actions and behavior of the characters through an environmental role and the role of the closest people around. The condition of indecisiveness in behavior that causes changes in activities, attitudes and feelings proves that the characters here are able to explain about their own reflection who is facing anxiety.Keywords: Inner Conflict, Psychoanalysis, id, ego, superegoABSTRAKKonflik batin merupakan salah satu aspek kajian yang berkenaan dengan permasalahan yang dialami oleh manusia. Konflik batin yang dialami dapat memengaruhi kondisi psikis seseorang. Permasalahan psikis juga dapat ditemukan dalam sebuah karya sastra seperti novel. Objek penelitian ini adalah novel Daun Yang Jatuh Tak Pernah Membenci Angin karya Tere Liye. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan: (1) konflik batin tokoh utama dalam novel Daun Yang Jatuh Tak Pernah Membenci Angin, (2) faktor penyebab terjadinya konflik batin tokoh utama dalam novel Daun Yang Jatuh Tak Pernah Membenci Angin. Teori yang digunakan untuk menganalisis masalah ini adalah teori Sigmund Freud tentang psikoanalisis mengenai id, ego, dan superego. Metode yang digunakan dalam menganalisis masalah ini adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian ditemukan bahwa keadaan yang dibangun dari hasil tindakan dan perilaku tokoh melalui sebuah peran lingkungan dan peran orang terdekat di sekitar. Kondisi kebimbangan perilaku yang menimbulkan perubahan aktivitas, sikap dan perasaan membuktikan bahwa tokoh disini mampu menjelaskan tentang refleksi dirinya sendiri yang sedang menghadapi kegundahan.Kata Kunci: Konflik Batin, Psikoanalisis, id, ego, superego
