Distintas certificaciones sustentables existentes para edificios en México.

Abstract

In Mexico one of many strategies to stop environmental impact caused by constructions, are the sustainable buildings certifications. There are many obstacles which avoid the application of them, causing a lag in the sustainable development, one of these obstacles is misinformation. This research is intended to explain the different types of sustainable certifications for buildings in Mexico, in order to spread this information among the Mexican population. Through an analysis of the most important aspects of those certifications, we got a list and a data base of them. This research concludes that there is a lot of misinformation and outdated information of the international regulations existing in this subject.
