This second edition of Immunology of the Skin responds to the need to provide colleagues, students, physicians, pediatricians, dermatologists, clinical immunologists, and allergists, among others, with updated, analytical, and quality content. Based on the advances currently offered by science, knowledge, and technology, the authors have renewed the content of the chapters and now also present other topics, such as microbiome, cancer, and immunomodulators, all of which help complement and strengthen the structure of the book. We invite our readers, from the perspective of their learning and academic interest, to embark on a new journey into the structure and function of immunology in the astonishing depths of the skin.
