From the criticism that Franz Hinkelammert issues to transcendental-abstract thought, which flaunts and supports enlightenment-capitalist modernity through its empirical sciences: law, economics, sociology, this text has been produced. This highlights the repercussions of thought in historical reality, hence, together with Hinkelammert and the tradition of critical thinking, it is considered that thought-social and historical context imply and influence each other. On the other hand, the transcendental-abstract thought of enlightenment-capitalist modernity has concealed historical reality, therefore it only exposes and lies what allows it to sustain itself and reproduce itself in history. Likewise, the criticism of transcendental-abstract thought does not imply the renunciation of reason, but rather the overcoming of one of its forms, that is, the scientific-technological version. Thus, criticizing and overcoming modern enlightenment-capitalist reason aims to glimpse-propose other ways of reproducing life, which do not require exploitation and systematic violence to persist historically.
