The purpose of this study is to analyze the content of Surah Luqman verses 12-19 about moral education from the perspective of Ibn Kathir's interpretation. The method used in this study is a descriptive qualitative method of library research, analysis of research data by reading, studying, and reviewing primary sources from the book of Tafsir Ibn Kathir surah Luqman verses 12-19 and other sources relevant to the problem to be discussed. The results showed that the concept of moral education in the Qur'an Surah Luqman verses 12-19 in Ibn Kathir's tafsir includes the command to thank Allah, the command not to associate Allah, birul walidain, muroqobah, establish prayers and amar ma'ruf nahi munkar, and the command to be humble. Ibn Kathir gave an interpretation of surah Luqman verses 12-19 regarding moral education in the form of instilling aqidah in children, teaching gratitude, obeying Allah SWT, filial piety to both parents, teaching noble morals and ethics when interacting with others.
