The purpose of this research is to find out the teacher's strategy of Akidah Akhlak in Forming the Religious Character of Class VIII Students of MTS Riyadul Muta'alimin Panongan Tangerang. This type of research is qualitative. The research subjects were educators and students of class VIII MTS Riyadul Muta'alimin Panongan. Data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis using descriptive analysis. Data validation uses the triangulation method. The results of the study show that the Aqidah Akhlak teacher's strategy in forming religious character in students includes the teacher forming self-awareness in students of the importance of having a religious character, the teacher accustoming students to implementing strategies for forming religious spiritual character, and the aqidah moral teacher also provides examples and habits about religious character inside and outside the classroom. This is because not all parents of students understand and want to supervise the application process given at school as well as the environment where students live which is less supportive.
