This letter investigates a simultaneous wireless information and power transfer (SWIPT)-enabled device-to-device (D2D) communication system, assisted by an intelligent reflecting surface (IRS) with imperfect channel state information (CSI). The primary objective is to optimize the energy efficiency of D2D users. To address the intricate optimization problem, we decompose it into three alternating sub-problems for approximate global optimization. Numerical results demonstrate the superior performance of the proposed algorithm, while also emphasizing the potential performance decline of the IRS random phase shifts algorithm under the influence of CSI errors.
