Abstract

Recently, the scientists are attracted towards cyanobacterial components .These components are potential low-cost and biological reagents used for the green synthesis of silver nanoparticles .This article deals with the green synthesis of silver nanoparticles using a protenaceous pigment Phycocyanin extracted from Spirulina platensis as a reducing agent .The green synthesis is an alternative harmless and environ-mentally friendly method for producing nanoparticles. Also Silver nanoparticles (AgNPs) are one of the most significant and fascinating nanomaterials. The invented nanoparticles were confirmed by using an advanced devices; spectrophotometer; transmission electron microscope (TEM); fourier transform inferred spectroscopy (FT-IR);zeta potential analysis and finally EXD.AgNPs have received particular attention due to their potential for use in the treatment and diagnostics of cancer. Moreover, they have immense applications such as breast cancer cell detection; basal cell carcinoma fingerprinted detection; antibacterial and antifungal. Finally, the great concern is that the developing nanotechnologybased therapy should be better than available technologies, and it should overcome the limitations of existing treatment techniques. Also, it has to provide a safe, reliable, and viable treatment of diseases with high accuracy in a patient-friendly manner.
