A Compact Wideband MIMO Quad Element Antenna for mm-wave Applications

Abstract

This paper presents a compact a compact wideband MIMO quad element antenna for mm-wave applications. The presented antenna comprised of four antenna elements having T-shaped configurations. The presented antenna is able to operate between 36.32-40.5 GHz. This antenna achieves a maximum gain of 7.180 dBi at 38 GHz. The diversity parameters of the proposed antenna is analyzed and it is seen that this antenna operates well in the desired frequency range.
