Pengembangan Media Pembelajaran Komik Pendidikan Berbasis Android Pada Mata Pelajaran Gambar Teknik di Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan

Abstract

Abstrak: Komik merupakan media hiburan yang dapat digunakan dan dikembangkan menjadi salah satu media pembelajaran yang dapat digunakan guru dikelas. Penelitian dan pengembangan media komik dalam pembelajaran telah banyak dilakukan. Namun pengembangan media komik di sekolah menengah kejuruan (SMK) masih jarang dilakukan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran komik pendidikan berbasis android pada SMK khususnya pada elemen gambar teknik. Implikasi dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menciptakan media pembelajaran yang efektif dapat diterapkan di sekolah menengah kejuruan (SMK). Komik yang telah dibuat untuk penelitian ini sudah di-uji-cobakan ke salah satu SMK Negeri di Surakarta dan mendapat hasil poin validasi oleh ahli materi sebesar 90%, ahli instruksional sebesar 72,5% serta hasil uji coba kepada guru dengan hasil 99,2% sehingga dapat dikategorikan “Layak” dan dapat disimpulkan jika komik ini dapat menjadi salah satu media pembelajaran yang bisa digunakan guru dalam proses pembelajaran. Serta penggunaan komik ini juga berpengaruh dan dapat meningkatkan prestasi belajar siswa, terbukti dari data nilai rata-rata siswa mengalami peningkatan sebesar 0,74.Abstract: Comics are entertainment media that can be used and developed into one of learning media that teachers can use in class. The research and development of comic media in learning has been carried out a lot. However, the development of comic media in vocational high schools is still rare. The purpose of this study was to develop an Android-based educational comic learning media for vocational high schools, especially in the subject of Technical Drawing. The implication of this research is to create effective learning media that can be applied in vocational high schools. The comics that have been made for this research have been tried out at one of the State Vocational Schools in Surakarta and received validation results by material experts at 90%, instructional experts at 72.5% and test results for teachers with results of 99.2% so can be categorized as "Appropriate" and it can be concluded that this comic can be one of the learning media that teachers can use in the learning process. As well as the use of this comic also influences and can improve student learning achievement, as evidenced by the data that the researchers took, the average student score increased by 0.74.
