Abstract

The cover feature of Advanced Sensor Research highlights Swagato Sarkar and Tobias A. F. König's pioneering work on plasmon-photon hybridization for improved sensing efficiency with minimal material usage. Their review article 2300054 shows scalable nanostructures that combine photonic diffraction with plasmonic modes, enabling a breakthrough in sensitivity and selectivity for (bio)analyte detection. This innovative approach, which promises exceptionally high performance, represents a significant advance in sensor technology. We want to acknowledge the support of Anik Kumar Ghosh for the cover image.
