Recent Progress in Poly (3,4‐Ethylene Dioxythiophene): Polystyrene Sulfonate Based Composite Materials for Electromagnetic Interference Shielding (Adv. Mater. Technol. 1/2024)

Abstract

Electromagnetic Interference Shielding In article 2301203, Nirmala Rachel James and co-workers demonstrate that PEDOT:PSS which is a conducting polymer can be utilized as a coating in electromagnetic interference shielding materials. PEDOT:PSS has good coating properties and binds to the matrix well. Herein, PEDOT:PSS forms interconnected conductive network with the matrix and thus enhances the EMI shielding property. The EM waves or lightning that are reflected or absorbed by PEDOT:PSS composites and protect the electronic devices.
