RAKET SEBAGAI SUMBER IDE PENCIPTAAN MOTIF BATIK UNTUK BUSANA CASUAL

Abstract

Rackets have their own unique beauty in their shape, color, material and type. A racket is a tool for hitting the ball in tennis, badminton or squash, with an oval (ovoid) netted end (made of nylon), a handle and equipped with a handle. The purpose of making this work is education, namely increasing public awareness and interest in the importance of sport and its impact on human survival. The foundation of creation in the process of making this work of art uses a creation method with 3 stages, namely the exploration stage, the design stage and the realization stage. The motif design chosen came from the idea of the racket and was applied to casual clothing by applying the written batik technique with dab coloring technique using remasol dye. The results of the creation of this work are 4 works, namely: the first work with the title Aruna, the second work with the name Nashita, the third work with the name Vikrama and the fourth work with the name Kara. which carries the theme of sports equipment in the form of rackets
