Construction of core–shell CoSe2/ZnIn2S4 heterostructures for efficient visible-light-driven photocatalytic hydrogen evolution

Abstract

Under visible light ( λ ≥ 420 nm), CoSe 2 /ZnIn 2 S 4 showed a hydrogen evolution rate of 2199 μmol g −1 h −1 which could be attributed to enhanced light-harvesting ability, increased solar energy utilization efficiency, and fast transfer of photogenerated electrons and holes.
